2.7. Requirements for Procedures – Chapter 7

The word “procedure” brings visions of medieval surgical torture to many managers in the food industry. Nobody has the time to write them; in fact just thinking about having to write a procedure throws one into frantic procrastination; starting with three cups of coffee, some desk cleaning, email inbox sorting, a catch-up scroll on news about Covid-19, followed by a quick google video tutorial search on why the leaves on that once beautiful orchard on your desk are turning yellow. I know the feeling, but it’s time to dig deep and face the villain square-on, shoulders back with sword in hand – we can do this, and we are going to feel really good about ourselves once we’re done!

Join us in Chapter 7 of Part 2 of this eBook series as we discuss why we need them and what procedures are typically required in your food safety management system.
