ISO 22000 Overview

The ISO 22000 standard belongs to the ISO (International Standard Organisation) family and adopts the framework and high-level structure of the other ISO standards. The ISO 22000 standard focuses on the management of food safety controls and the certification can be used a steppingstone towards FSSC 22000 certification. The standard uses the Process Approach, Plan Do Check Act Cycle (PDCA) model and the concept of Risk-Based Thinking. It also integrates the principles of the HACCP system and application steps developed by the Codex Alimentarius Commission. This course provides an overview of the ISO 22000 requirements.
