The BRCGS Food Safety Standard was published in August 2022. Companies will be audited against Issue 9 from February 2023. This bridging course will take you through the revisions to the standard whilst providing you with guidance as to how you can address these revisions in your current food safety management system.
The BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard Issue 8 was recently updated to Issue 9 in August 2022 to include emerging issues in the food industry. Companies will be audited against Issue 9 from February 2023. The BRCGS standard is a globally recognised certification standard and has been approved by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).
This one day course provides an overview of the main changes from issue 8 to issue 9. The revisions to each clause of the standard are discussed and guidance is provided as to how these changes can be addressed in your current Food Safety Management System using case studies and activities to facilitate understanding.
