BRC GLOBAL STANDARD FOR PACKAGING AND PACKAGING MATERIALS WORKSHOP

The BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials provides a framework for all types of packaging manufacturers. The Standard includes requirements for product safety, quality and operational criteria for legal compliance and protection of the consumer and has been approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) as a certification standard. 


This 3 day workshop provides a detailed interpretation of the standard. Delegates are guided through each clause of the standard using case studies and group activities to practise understanding of clauses and to ensure participation which will make the workshop more enjoyable and  emorable for the delegates attending.


A gap assessment and a project plan for implementation of the requirements will need to be developed by delegates as part of the training course.

Who should attend:

The Food Safety Team, Production Managers / Supervisors, Quality Supervisors and Laboratory staff.

Prerequisites:

Delegates must already have a good understanding of GMP and HACCP. Ensure that your company has an original copy of the purchased BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials vs 5.

ASSESSMENT:

Delegates will need to complete a knowledge test and to score 70% for the test and to submit a gap assessment and a project plan for implementation.
