Aileen Uys - Western Cape Franchisee
Aileen studied Molecular Cellular Microbiology at the University of Stellenbosch. Her experience in the food industry includes working in research and development, quality control and quality assurance. She received extensive training and experience in the dairy industry and insight in new product development while working as a key account sales manager for an international company. Aileen is extensively trained in HACCP, ISO 22000, practical food safety inspection and auditing, allergen management, food labelling and food defense. She is in the process of completing a Lead Auditor course and registering as an assessor with FoodBev SETA. Aileen enjoys travelling and has worked and received training in Brazil and Denmark.

René Fourie - Associate Food Safety Facilitator
René has a B.Sc (Zoology and Plant Chemistry – University of the Free State). Her 20 years’ experience in the Food Industry includes Lab Technician Towerkop Dairy (later Parmalat) as well as Lab and QA Manager for Ladismith Cheese. She is a registered assessor and has also completed her ISO 22000 and Lead Auditor Training. She currently freelances as a facilitator, assessor and consultant for Skills programmes and Learnerships (Laboratory, Dairy and Food Safety Management Systems) as well as PRP and ISO 22000 Systems Implementation. She is passionate about training and enjoys meeting new people in the food industry. |
